Kimberly Salas has resided in the 5th District for 43 years where she and her husband of thirty years raised their family. They are the proud parents of four adult children and grandparents to three precious grandchildren. Mrs. Salas currently serves as District Director for Assemblywoman Dr. Jasmeet Bains. She has had the distinct pleasure of serving the residents of the 5th District in a variety of roles, most notably as a community and constituent advocate. Her advocacy helped bring improvement funds of $7.4M to the 5th District for a curb, gutter, and sidewalk project around schools. As a member of our community, she will continue to roll up her sleeves to pick up trash and paint over graffiti. She is committed to fighting for public safety, bringing needed infrastructure, and ensuring working families have equitable health. She sees the need in the 5th District for properly lit streets, road repair, trash cleanup, and graffiti abatement.
